Thermador Pro Grand®

Thermador, living with its reputation for the innovative spirit, has recently introduced the Thermador Pro Grand ® Steam which is the world’s first kitchen appliance capable of seven cooking options, that is – steaming, convection baking, burner cooking, simmering, grilling, griddle cooking and warming. All these it is able to accomplish with a large capacity oven, a six-burner gas cooktop and a warming drawer. It incorporates the exclusive Star ® burners as well as the ExtraLow ® simmering technology.

This 1.4 cubic food capacity Steam and Convection oven gives the home cook the additional option for the healthy steam cooking and can easily accommodate a 14-lb turkey. A 14-pound turkey takes only 90 minutes to cook in Combination mode which results in a moist inside and perfect crust outside result. Well, that is definitely very interesting! The oven comes with a 30 easy cook food programs that gives the home cook a lot of options. Talk about how Thermador makes cooking a lot easier and more fun. Its water tank was designed to enable easy spill-proof refilling that does away with costly plumbing modifications.

The 5.1 cubic-food Convection Oven gives the cook a lot of space and nine conventional cooking modes.

The ExtraLow simmering technology on the other hand gives the option to simmering as low as 100 degrees by cycling the burners off and on. The Star Burners with QuickClean base allows for more ports and flame distribution, greater heat coverage and a smaller cold spot than other conventional round burners.

The Pro Grand is constructed using the highest grade stainless steel. It also comes with the SoftClose hinges that prevents the oven doors from slamming.

Thermador has indeed built another cooking masterpiece.

The Pro Grand will be available in August of 2011 at high-end appliance stores.

How to Change a Thermador Double Oven Clock

It can be frustrating when your oven clock is set to the wrong time. Fortunately, setting the clock on a Thermador Double Oven is a simple process that will give you an accurate display of the time

1. Locate the “Clock” and “Start” buttons. They are located in various places around the display screen on different Thermador Double Ovens.

2. Press the “Clock” button. The display screen may read “Enter Time of Day Then Touch Start” or will say nothing, depending on the model of Thermador that you have.

3. Enter the correct time by pressing the number buttons. If your model scrolled a message in Step 2, the same message will continue scrolling across the screen.

4. Press either the “Start” or “Clock” button. Your clock is now set.

Tips & Warnings:

If you have a Thermador Double Oven that distinguishes between a.m. and p.m., press “1″ for a.m or “2″ for p.m. after completing Step 4.

If you have lost power, you can consult the clock on your Thermador Double Oven when the power comes back on. The clock will display the time when the power went out.

If you hear beeping while you are setting the clock, don’t worry. The clock beeps as a reminder if ten seconds elapse between pressed buttons.
